<- Our Definition of Body-Painting ->

Body-Painting is a timeless art of appreciating the human canvas as visual art.

It is a mean of expression of creative concepts translated on human canvas without incurring neither permanance nor pain or destructive properties unlike tattoos or graffiti art.

Capable of creating a spectacular visual when incorporated into music and movement, it’s one mean of breaking the norm in human psychology for ice breaking and to create a conversational piece.

Body-Painting gives recycling a second look as it is environmentally safe. With no paper wastage and the material constituting of bio-degradable cosmetic body-paint much like cosmetic products, it differs from the conventional toxic paints of acrylic, poster-colors and tattoo paints that may contain PPP, an environmental poison or the toxic aerosol spray of graffiti art that both expose the artist to health hazards over period of time and destroy the ozone layer contributing to the warming of the planet.

Simply, body-painting is not driven by elaborate or complications unlike contemporary or abstract arts as it is to be enjoyed by both the artist and the model.

<- Our Artistic Approach ->

Body-Painting covers a  wide spectrum of artistic angles such as shading, perspective, depth, texture, surrealistic and abstract images such that no singular body painter can claim to be skilled in all aspects of the art.

Our expertise covers the abstract impressions of body-painting, focusing on thought provoking pieces rather than direct interpretations of objects and forms.

<- Our Wearable Art Approach ->

Wearable Art was conceptualized by Nixem to replace the conventional methods of producing designs which in the events industry are very often used once off and then discarded. By replacing it with wearable-art; not only is wastage minimized in terms of material loss, each production of bodypaint can still morph and differ even if given a similar concept.

Wearable Arts can also partially act as a medium to conceptualize & incorporate a designer's fantasy from pen and paper directly onto the model, creating a form fitting & surreal image when accessorized.
